The objectives of Reto Mara Development Organization with regard to education and empowerment are;

To establish or assist the establishment of schools, educational centres and libraries. To sensitize the community on civic matters by promoting civic education.

To assist the local community in establishing income-generating projects/ activities through technical inputs and credit facilities.

To hold seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings in order to disseminate/ share information with communities, NGO's and the Government at large.

To identify the local community development needs and assist in setting up, re-organization or improvement of vocational training institutions with a view to enable them engage in gainful entrepreneurial activities.

To organize and facilitate the development of programmes and projects for the local communities by giving grants, loans, technical advise and other supportive financial and managerial requirements and to give development loans to such communities programmes and projects to enhance growth and self reliance.

To disseminate information and ideas to all interested and concerned with the implementation of youth development programmes and projects.
